Update on Wouter Sybrandy
Unfortunately Wouter Sybrandy suffered a serious crash in yesterday’s stage of the Tour of Britain. He is currently stable in intensive care at St George’s in Tooting after being moved there last night from Guildford.
He has broken three of his lower vertebrae which will need surgery early next week and has facial injuries which will be operated on on Friday.
I visited him again this afternoon and he was in good spirits considering. I have passed on everyone’s best wishes and will show him all the messages as soon as he’s up to it.
Many thanks to everyone for all your support. Will keep you up-dated.
Best Wishes
Becky
