Tour of the Reservoir – 6th May
On Sunday the team head to Northumberland for the 3rd round of the British Cycling Premier Calendar series. The Tour of the Reservoir consists of 8 laps around the Derwent Reservoir covering 100 miles.
Taking to the start line for IG Sigma Sport will be:
Wouter Sybrandy, Tom Murray, Simon Richardson, Steve Lampier, Dan Craven, Simon Gaywood, Tom Last and Peter Hawkins.
This will be Pete’s first big race in the UK for the team since joining in January. Pete has had a good start to the season so far with a stage win at the Tour of the North and wins at races such as the Newbridge GP in Ireland.
”I’m really looking forward to racing over in the UK and in particular getting stuck in at the tour series. I’ve had a good start to the season and done some solid training in Ireland so fingers crossed we can mix things up at the weekend and end the run of good form from Endura” said Pete.
This is the 29th year of the race and I think were all hoping that conditions will be slightly improved on last week at the CiCLE Classic.
